PubCom's studio/training lab is located in a small suburb just outside the District of Columbia. It's a 15-minute walk to the Takoma Metro subway station on the border with DC.

Downtown Silver Spring is about a mile northwest of us and has a wide assortment of restaurants, theaters, stores, and entertainment. There are frequent county and Metro busses between Silver Spring and Rt. 410 (also called East-West Highway or Philadelphia Ave.) in Takoma Park.

 

We recommend the following hotels.

The Comfort Inn and Etta Mae Inn (B&B) are closest to our studio/lab. The others are located just a few blocks further in downtown Silver Spring.

In downtown Silver Spring:

• Catch a vintage flick at the American Film Institute's historic Silver Theater in downtown Silver Spring.
• See a current release at the Regal Majestic 20 movie theaters.
• See the latest exhibit at Discovery Channel's headquarters.
• See a play at the Roundhouse Theater.
• Attend a music or stage performance at Montgomery College's Cultural Art Center.
